My work took a turn in 2018 when I embarked on a trip to Scandinavia to do research on individuality, movement and language for a personal theatre project, ISLE (working title). Hibernating amongst northern lights in the mountains of Lofoten, Norway, I started exploring with visual arts, which led to my current reflection on subjects about sound, language, connectivity, the magic within the apparent error in chaotic perfection and how this is all experienced through the senses – approached through simplicity, geometry and narrative in my drawings.
